New tutorial structure

I’ve managed to include the sheet part of the tab, by letting it take up half of the bottom screen. I believe this, in addition to a close up of the left and right hand will better show the important information and finger positions / movements.

I also chose to go back to the old style where I only play the tutorial in half speed of the performance. This is due to lack of time and I also believe it’s too redundant having a 75% part. Instead, I will let the viewers (or student) use the setting cog in order to change the speed to either 0.5, 1, 1.25, 1.5 or 2 (performance tempo).

One thing I will change for the future tutorials, is after the segmented tutorial, show the tutorial in one piece, to show the transitions between the segments as well.

If I get more time in the future I will also add “slow motion” replays of extra hard parts.

New album up!

News Posted on Mon, December 05, 2016 13:03:51

Since I have so many songs from Skyrim I decided to make an own album for it, “The Elder Scrolls Series Vol.1”. It was published last month on Loudr, iTunes, Google Play, Spotify and some other stores. The album can be found on my webpage or here.

I chose to call it The Elder Scrolls Series, partly because it has the Morrowind main theme in it, and also because Vol.2 will contain songs that are from Morrowind, Skyrim, Oblivion and possibly from The Elder Scrolls Online.

That being said, there will be more albums coming as soon as I’ve created a larger collection of other songs. To get an idea of what’s to come, please have a look on my news section.

In other news, I’ve moved to a new place together with my girlfriend and we have been occupied with moving both her and my (brothers and sisters) stuff to the new place, basically spending the majority of November on moving, cleaning and selling stuff. This is the reason for me being a month absent from Youtube.

Now, everyting has settled down and the studio is set up, so everything should run smoothly. I will first try to make 2-3 videos a month and see how that goes.

If all goes well, my goal is to put up 4 videos a month and hopefully the channel should run as normally again!
